The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities is a top-10 public research institution, offering a comprehensive range of 150 undergraduate programs and over 200 graduate programs. In addition, the Minnesota English Language Program (MELP) offers a full time English program and support to enrolled students. Our campus in Minneapolis/St. Paul is both beautiful and metropolitan, providing opportunities to experience the arts, sports, the outdoors, and internships.
Discovery and research are at the heart of what we do. Our faculty includes many inventors, Nobel Prize winners, and business leaders. Last year, the University of Minnesota Twin Cities received over $1 billion in research funding and students are involved in research at all levels. The retractable seat belt, the pacemaker, in-flight tracking systems and the Honeycrisp apple were all invented here!

Just minutes from campus, you can attend a professional sporting event, shop at one of the world’s largest shopping malls, dine at a trendy uptown restaurant, get inspired at the Weisman Art Museum (on-campus), or relax at one of our local coffee shops. Our Minneapolis campus is located very close to the MSP international airport, making travel easy and convenient.
