Located on the Western tip of Lake Superior, the greatest of the Great Lakes, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) perfectly blends the benefits of its location with a personalized learning experience, and meaningful research opportunity on a medium-sized campus that is part of the famous University of Minnesota System.

With a rich history dating to 1895, the UMD campus now consists of more than 50 buildings situated on 100 hectares overlooking the city. Undergraduate students can choose from over 160 majors and minors and benefit from faculty mentors who are committed to their academic growth and success.
