Founded in 1869, St. Cloud State University prepares students for life, work and citizenship in the 21st century. St. Cloud State University is a public, four-year institution, offering market-relevant academic programs, where students apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
St. Cloud State University offers more than 200 undergraduate programs and 60 masters and doctoral degrees. We also offer conditional admission, though our full-time English Language program (IEC), located on our campus. IEC is a great option for students who are academically ready for University, but who do not currently meet our English proficiency requirements for admission.
Located roughly an hour from our state capital and the international airport. The city of St. Cloud, is a safe and vibrant community of approximately 66,000 city residents, and is part of a larger three county metropolitan area of more than 190,000 people. Our campus is located along the banks of the Mississippi River, and is surrounded by beautiful parks, walking trails and plenty of fresh water.
Our faculty are dedicated to student success and are known professionally within their field of study.
