The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities is a top-10 public research institution, offering a comprehensive range of 140 undergraduate programs and 200 graduate and professional degree programs. In addition, we offer short-term study options (GO Minnesota) and an intensive English Language Program on campus (MELP).

We have more than 900 student groups and intramural sports teams. We also offer enhanced academic experiences such as undergraduate research opportunities, service learning, and social impact entrepreneurship programs.

Our campus in Minneapolis/St. Paul is both beautiful and metropolitan, providing opportunities to experience the arts, the outdoors and internships. Our enrollment of 52,000 includes 6,300 international students from 130+ countries. Our student-to-faculty ratio is 17:1 and our 3,400 faculty include many inventors, Nobel Prize winners, and business leaders. We are a member of the American Association of Universities and receive over $910 million in research funding each year.

We host more than 300 sponsored students from 40+ countries and work with 45 sponsors and embassies to provide individualized services in an effort to enable student success.
