St. Olaf College
Founded in 1874, St. Olaf College is a nationally ranked liberal arts and sciences college, located in the safe and beautiful college town of Northfield, 45 minutes south of Minneapolis-St. Paul. All 3,000 students (representing 82 countries) are undergraduates and approximately 95% live on campus or in college-owned houses all four years, creating a vibrant and close-knit community. Students choose from more than 85 academic programs and the most popular majors include Biology, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology, and Chemistry. One-third of our students are involved in music and nearly 75% (including international students) study abroad on one of more than 100 different programs. Students can get involved in more than 200 student clubs and organizations, music and theater groups, and varsity and intramural athletic teams.
